Depuis sa création, l’Union d’ASA a joué un rôle très important dans la dynamique agricole de notre département. Grâce au dynamisme des présidents et de leur syndicats, les réseaux permettent aujourd’hui une valorisation du patrimoine existant, un gain en valeur ajoutée et une diversification des cultures. L’Union permet aux président de ne pas rester seuls devant les nouveaux enjeux des ASA (augmentation du cout de l’énergie, nouveaux usages de l’eau, vieillissement des réseaux, …) et de valoriser les expériences acquises sur le département.


Aujourd’hui, l’UASA s’engage dans l’accompagnement des projets collectifs d’agriculteurs, les épaulent dans l’élaboration de dossiers administratifs, environnementaux et la recherche de financement. Dans les années à venir, l’existence de l’UASA se justifiera de plus en plus pour gérer l’ensemble du patrimoine collectif d’irrigation existant sur le département que ce soit au niveau technique, juridique, administratif ou comptable…
